The Matrix control is used for selecting chords or scales, and appears in several situations in ChordWizard.

 

In the workspace, it appears as a Chord Matrix in Library View and Relations View, and as a Scale Matrix in Scales View and Relations View, and as both within the Filter Bar.

 

It also appears in several popup windows, including the Relations tool, the Chords To Scales tool, the Set Filter window, and the Select page in the Report Options window.

 

 

 

The following keystrokes can be used for navigating and selecting within a matrix.

 

 

Left

Moves the focus rectangle one cell to the left.

 

 

Right

Moves the focus rectangle one cell to the right.

 

 

Up

Moves the focus rectangle one cell up.

 

 

Down

Moves the focus rectangle one cell down.

 

 

Home

Moves the focus rectangle to the first cell of the current row.

 

 

End

Moves the focus rectangle to the last cell of the current row.

 

 

Page Up

Shifts the focus rectangle up by the number of visible rows.

 

 

Page Down

Shifts the focus rectangle down by the number of visible rows.

 

 

Space

Selects the cell highlighted by the focus rectangle.
